question
The theme of our 2010 challenge was:
“Water, water everywhere but not a drop to drink”.
The creation did not have to look like an ocean, lake or river. The object was to use your imagination. It can be over the water, under the water, by the water, indoors or outdoors, real or imagined, fun or serious. Maybe it’s rain or a pool or the fabrics or the blocks you use choose that speak to you.
Have fun and be creative
2009 Challenge
This challenge was to keep our creative juices flowing during a year we didn't have a quilt show.
Do you have…
Now’s your time to use it! Well not really, that’s the challenge!!
2008 Challenge
The 2008 Herring Run Quilt Show was our 10th show!!! To celebrate that anniversary the theme of our challenge was TEN! The challenge creation did not have to have the number TEN on it (unless that’s what you want), but must represent TEN. It can have ten blocks, ten items, ten fabrics, ten of anything. We urge you to let your imagination go wild and for you to HAVE FUN!!
